Contact form plugin for Payload CMS
A CMS inbox that organises enquiries submitted through a contact form.
Payload Contact gives Payload CMS 3 an entry point for messages and their handling in the admin interface. Validation, anti-spam controls and status tracking connect the form to the inbox.
The project addresses an often overlooked question: what happens after someone clicks send? A form needs to work for the person writing and for the team receiving, sorting and handling enquiries.

Close to the content workflow
Bringing enquiries into the CMS avoids treating a form as an isolated element. The admin interface provides a place to read messages and follow their status.
Manage incoming data
The plugin documents validation, rate limiting and a honeypot. These controls belong to a wider setup that needs configuration for its hosting environment and intended use.
A reusable component
Public code and instructions let teams inspect the integration before choosing it. Each application still needs to review compatibility, access permissions and message retention.
