Website redesign

The service at a glance

When should you consider a website redesign?

A redesign is useful when the website’s structure, publishing tools or technology constrain your goals. An isolated issue may be fixable without rebuilding everything. Navanem reviews the existing site, its uses and available evidence before recommending targeted improvements or a redesign. The transition plan covers content, URLs and essential functions.

UNDERSTAND BEFORE REBUILDING.

Your website can remain recognisable while becoming more useful. We distinguish presentation issues, navigation difficulties and technical constraints. Pages that already answer a need, incoming links and your team’s working habits belong in the assessment. Decisions focus on specific changes, their costs and their dependencies.

Current state and priorities

We review pages, navigation, functions and available access. Search and measurement data add context when you grant access. We distinguish verified findings from questions that need further investigation.

Content to keep or revise

An inventory identifies what should stay, change or be combined. Text, images, documents and languages are accounted for before development. Removal is discussed rather than treated as an automatic consequence of a new design.

Structure and visual direction

Pages are organised around your offer and important journeys. Concrete page designs make readability and brand character easier to assess. The new design should help visitors understand and act.

URL and data migration

When addresses change, we map old pages to relevant destinations. Data transfers, access, forms and integrations receive checks appropriate to their role. Migration requirements are agreed before the launch window.

Checks before launch

The prepared version is checked on mobile and desktop: links, forms, media, metadata and language versions. Indexing rules and redirects are tested in the hosting context. Blocking issues are addressed before publication.

Transition and follow-up

We agree a backup, a rollback procedure and post-launch checks. Crawl behaviour, errors and enquiries can be monitored through available tools. A migration cannot guarantee completely unchanged search performance.

How we work

FROM IDEA TO DELIVERY.

  1. Review

Identify obstacles, useful content and existing constraints.

  2. Decide

Choose targeted corrections or redesign, then agree the scope.

  3. Prepare

Build the pages and organise content and URL migration.

  4. Launch and follow up

Agree the launch, checks and responsibilities after delivery.

Our own work

Documented journeys that inform design choices

ITHub documents our work on search, categories and listings. Payload Contact explains how enquiries are handled. These projects demonstrate skills relevant to a redesign; they are not a promise of increased traffic.

A first step to agree together

LET’S SET THE DIRECTION.

Share the website address, what is holding you back and the functions you need to preserve. We identify useful access and prepare priorities. The scope explains what can be repaired, what deserves rebuilding and what the transition depends on.

THE RIGHT QUESTIONS.

Does a redesign require a new CMS?

No. The existing CMS can stay if it supports your needs and remains maintainable. A platform change should solve a defined problem, with migration costs considered.

Can we keep our current URLs?

Yes, where they fit the new structure. When an address changes, we prepare a relevant redirect and update internal links. Sending every old page to the homepage is not a suitable replacement for a migration plan.

Will the current site remain available during the work?

The new version can be prepared separately. Launch arrangements depend on hosting, the CMS and data synchronisation. Any expected interruption should be discussed before the switch.

Will a redesign automatically improve SEO?

No. It can remove obstacles, but results also depend on content, competition and the transition. We agree verification criteria and follow-up instead of guaranteeing rankings.
